May 14,2012 Monday
I went out to Troys at 8:30 AM and spent the day, here is a new Picture.

I am so blessed this mother's day to have my son's, Thank you God of them.
Scott called and Shane came by for a visit, and Troy called. I am a happy Mother,
I love you all.

Troy had 3 Doctors Appointment's today, his face surgeon said he may take the wires off in two weeks, not three as planed ( on May 30)  He is doing well.

Karrie's Friend stayed with Troy today, I went out to see him.
May 8, 2012 Tuesday I stayed with Troy today and it was nice to see him getting up and moving around. Here is a new picture


May 7,2012 Monday Tom spent the day with Troy. This is the first day that just a family member can stay with Troy and not a nurse. Thing are looking up!

It is 6PM and I have not Talked to him yet. Troy called and he sounded good, but tired.

I went on a field trip with Riley, and when I got back I went to Troys to see him.  He said he sleep all night. It is Payton 13th. Birthday today.

Troy came home from the hospital. He still has a trek in his neck. He seems to do a little bet better each day,  He can talk a little, just can't move his mouth.
So please keep praying for him.

Shane’s called to give us an update on Troy’s condition at 9:00am this morning.

Shane spent last night with Troy after his surgery so Kerrie could go home and get some sleep.

Troy had a good night over all. He would wake up every couple of hours.  He was having some hallucinations from the drugs they have given him.  I told him I used to have to pay for that service.

About 4:00am Shane turned on sports center and that seemed to calm him down and he slept until 7:00am.

During the surgery they wired his jaws shut, so they are reluctant to take off the ventilator tube for fear of having him through up with his mouth wired shut. This could cause choking and death. They keep wire cutters around as an emergency tool to cut the wires to his mouth.  Troy will have to carry them around with him during his recovery in case of emergency.

They did not insert a feeding tube into his stomach.  They are going to test his ability to swallow today to see if he can be feed with a tube in his mouth.  They will run test every two hours.

Shane was very complimentary about the way Kerrie has been supporting Troy.  She has been very patient and was able to calm Troy when he became anxious.
